Now I can see your point about them being cheap but I've always had a problem with resturant's not allowing people to order off the kids menu. They usually have some of the best junk food to eat. Like where I used to work the kid's menu had Kraft mac n' cheese where as the "adult" menu did not. I love the stuff but can't get it because I'm over a certain age. Why does the resturant care what age I am? They get money from me if I order it for myself so why not rather NOT have my money over a what "I" find a silly rule.

I agree wholeheartedly. I love Chicken Tenders and it's ALWAYS on the kid's menu. But at our restaurant, the only kid's meals are "Chicken", "Shrimp" and "Steak". That's it. Those three are on the regular menu. No excuses.

I disagree. Restaurants give huge portions today. If my options are (1) a two-piece chicken dinner with salad, two vegetables, and bread service or (2) a once-piece chicken dinner with fries, I'm absolutely going to get the smaller portion. Things don't always reheat well, and people shouldn't be expected to waste food/money or feel compelled to eat everything on their plate just so you get a bigger tip. At our local Japanese restaurant, you get salad, soup, rice, and vegetables with the teriyaki chicken. You know what? All I eat is the rice and chicken. I eat there because I enjoy the atmosphere and watching the chefs cook. If it had a kid menu that just included rice and chicken, I'd probably eat there more often. Additionally, people often eat out in groups. If I'm not hungry but want to eat with my friends, I'm going to order something small off the kid menu or a dessert rather than feel guilty that I'm only getting a drink. People are ordering off the kid menu because they don't want to pay for food they're not going to eat, not because they're cheap or want to give you a smaller tip.

No excuses Ryan? Be careful dude. You don't want to turn into one of your old customers do you? LOL!!!

P.S. I'm real sorry if this comment was lame also. You got to understand I work the overnight shift and am not used to it yet so my "idea" of humor get pretty silly at times. Thank you.

[...] Last night at work, there was this little douchebag kid who looked like he’d been home schooled by an equally douche-y mom. (Not to say home schooled kids are bad as I have really good friends who were home schooled from kindergarten to 5th or 6th grade and they’re cool as hell…they’re all just much paler than the rest of my friends).
